About Us
OUR STORY
Poured by Hand. Burned Slowly.
Wick & Ember started as a kitchen-table habit: pouring the candles we wished we could buy. It still works that way, just with a bigger table.
HOW WE POUR
Slow wax, honest scent, and a vessel worth keeping.
A candle should smell like the thing it says it smells like, all the way to the bottom of the jar.
Every candle is poured in small batches in a coconut-soy blend, with cotton wicks sized to the vessel so the melt pool reaches the edge on the very first burn. No tunneling, no wasted wax.
Our fragrances are built from real notes, not a single sweet accord: sea salt and driftwood, black amber and cedar, cider and clove. Each batch cures for two weeks before it ships, which is why the scent holds from first light to last.

Good questions
Candles and care
How long does a candle burn?
Roughly 45 hours for a signature 3-wick, 30 for an everyday single wick, and 12 for a travel tin, with the wick trimmed to a quarter inch.
Why is my candle tunneling?
The first burn was probably too short. Let the melt pool reach the edge of the glass, usually two to three hours, and it will burn evenly from then on.
Are your candles safe around pets?
Our wax is non-toxic and our wicks are lead free. As with any open flame, keep candles out of reach and never leave one burning unattended.
Can I return a candle?
Yes, within 30 days if it is unburned. If something arrived damaged, send us a photo and we will replace it, no return needed.
